YFC's journey began in Mumbai with a vision to transform grassroots football through a structured, league-based ecosystem that prioritises consistent match experience over short tournaments. Launched on 7 December 2024, YFC Mumbai introduced a professional 20–25 week league format, giving young footballers regular competition, performance tracking, and a true season-long football experience.

Now entering its second season, YFC Mumbai continues to bring together academies and teams across U-5 to U-18 age categories, setting new standards for grassroots football with professionally managed matchdays and a development-focused approach. Today, the success of Mumbai has inspired YFC's presence in multiple cities, making it the foundation of an ever-growing grassroots football movement.
